Last Night

Last night at 10:30pm
as I am driving home from work,
My steering wheel starts going all crazy like a washing machine.
"Wait!", I think to myself. "I know I've felt this before."
"Oh yeah, my tire must be flat."
(immediately pull over and lock doors.)
Get out of car, smell burning rubber
and see smoke coming from a 3 inch hole in my tire.
Awesome!!

Cart, bless his heart, came to my rescue
and when he wasn't looking
I grabbed my camera and snapped these pictures.
He didn't even get mad! :)
Thanks Cart, what would I ever do without ya!!
Now I get to go buy a new tire with the
money I've bene saving for our mexico trip!
Awesome!!

Birthdays Birthdays All Around

We had a very wonderful day on Saturday.
We got te celebrate not 1, not 2, but 3 birthdays.
It was the twins 17th birthday,
and Me'Chel's 50th Birthday Party!
(Her B-day was on the 16th.)
It was so fun and I'm so grateful for
all 3 of these people in my life.
Chance: Chance is one of thoses easy going people that anyone can get along with. He has a tender heart and is a little hotty!! I am so glad he is my brother. Whoever gets him as a husband will get a keeper for sure!
Chandler AKA Roo: Roo has been my best friend since the day she was born! She has been with me through it all! She is always the one who know my feelings the best out of anyone. She can read me without me telling her anything. She will always be my best friend, and that brings me a lot of comfort.
Me'Chel: Any of you who know my mother in law know that she is the most kind hearted person you will ever meet in your entire life. And I'm not just saying that. She is a gem. She has become one of my very closest friends these past few years and I'm so blessed to have such a good mother in law.
Here are a few pictures of the Birthdays
The twins and I with their birthday cakes.

Hope you have a "Flippin" good Birthday Roo!

Hope you had an aFORDable Birthday Chance! (HA HA!)

Me'Chel's Surprise party

Made by Roo and Jord, thank you very much!

Valentines Get Away!

We had a great Valentines Day,
As I hope you all did too!
Cart made reservations at the Little America in SLC.
When we got there they had put out a Rose and Sparkling Cider. :)
My request for dinner was The Cheesecake Factory. :)
We got take out because the wait was literally 4 hours. Ha!!
We ate our deliciousness and rented a
movie for some outrageous price.
(Carter's favorite part of staying in a hotel is
to rent a movie in our room.)
We woke up and ordered breakfast in bed
before we cleaned up and headed home.
It was a perfect little get away.
It's always nice to have a little time with just the 2 of us.

I love you because..........

Today I am featuring a great idea from CAMIE.

I wish I could be this creative, seriously!!
This is Camie's sweet idea.
I decorated a glass jar one year with
scrapbooking valentines stickers
and on the lid I wrote, "I love you because........."
and I folding about 50-100 little pieces of paper inside
so that he could pull one out every day to remind him why I love him.
The pieces of paper would finish the though on the top.
Like, "You always open the door for me
when I get into the car! Thanks babe!"
It was really fun to make and he really loved it!
Thanks for participating in my Valentines Week Camie!!

As I surfed the web this morning, I found a few more cute ideas.
I wanted to post this one because it looks simple and easy!

Break it open to find the surprise.

Little Love Notes

My first blogger to be featured is my
cute cousin Kelsey from Idaho.
Here is her darling idea:

My idea is putting little notes all over the house,
his car, his wallet, anywhere he looks a lot!
Just put I love you on them or
reasons you're thankful for him.

Thanks Kels!!
Everyone else don't forget to leave your
ideas so I can have another post tomorrow.
I know you girls are creative!

Valentines Week Kick Off

Who could go wrong with a little breakfast in bed to kick off the week of Valentines?
If anyone else wants to try it, it's simple:
Cut a heart shape out of a piece of bread and butter it.
Put it in a frying pan and crack an egg right
into the heart shaped hole in the bread.
When the egg is cooked enough,
flip it and let it cook on the other side.
Use the heart cut outs and do something creative like
french toast or butter and strawberry jam.
I used Nutella because my husband LOVES that stuff.
Sausage or bacon (whichever you preffer)
can easily be used to spell out I and U.
I want to try to do at least one lilttle thing every day
till Valentines day for my sweetheart.
Please leave comments of your little ideas for valentines week.
I will be having a guest post every day starting tomorrow
(If I get some ideas in the comments) from
other people who have great ideas.
Check back each day to get ideas for your Valentines week.
This should be really fun and I'm excited to hear
everyone's ideas and post them one my blog.
