Tafton and Kudakwashe

This darling couple are both from Carter's mission. Tafton was one of Carter's favorite companions and Kuda was a sister missionary in their area. She actually from Zimbabwe as well. After they both served faithful missions, they began to write again to keep in touch, Tafton ended up bringing Kuda over to Utah from Zimbabwe and after almost a year, they got married in the Provo Temple. I love Kuda, she has a sweet kind heart! Carter loves to speak Shona to her (since she's probably the only person he has found since he's been home who can speak it back) . We made it down to their reception on Friday.

Bug Run 2010

Me'Chel's good friend Laura put together a big race for our community!

It was a blast!

There was races for everyone and anyone.

27 mile bike ride, 1/2 marathon, 10K, 5K, and kids run!

Most of my family and our really close friends came and participated and had so much fun!

(We missed you Liese.)

Cart did the bike race and I did the 10K which kicked my trash!

I'm feeling a little depressed due to the fact that I have a lot more miles than that coming up on the 19th. Oh well!

Carter and his bff Austin crack me up cause all of a sudden out of no where they are professional bikists. Kierstin and I watched them at midnight the night before the race getting everything ready! They were like 2 boys in a candy shop. They gave us a good laugh. We love them!

Raught Wedding and Why I Love My Man

Our cute friends got married yesterday!!

Their sealing was so nice and the wedding was so beautiful.

I'm so grateful that Austin picked such a good friend for me.

I always knew whoever Austin married I would HAVE to love because my husband and him are practically joint at the hip.

I couldn't have picked a better friend for myself so thank you Austin.

I love Kierstin! And I'm not just saying that!

She compliments Austin so well!

We love you both so much and we have some serious fun plans ahead!

My sweet husband still has it going on and he knows what's up people.

He planned a little trip for the two of us the day before the wedding.

He took me to the Gateway to shop for as long as I wanted. (He even pretended to like it!)

He took me to the Roof Resteraunt that night and then to the walk around temple square and see all the Christmas lights.

We stayed the night in a little room at the Red Lion Hotel where we could sleep in and get ready for the wedding the next morning.

He scored some brownie points in my book!

He loves me!!

Fall Feelings

I'm not sure what is it about fall........ but I absolutely love it! LOVE IT!!!! There is something in the air that makes me feel comfortable. It makes me want to cook lots of yummy things for my husband and get my house straightened and feeling homey. I have never been one to cook a whole lot, but now that I'm married I've found that I enjoy it a lot more thn I ever knew. I have found a few AWESOME cook books with some really yummy recipes. We've had lots of excitement lately. Two of my cute friends got married. Congratulations Mrs. Amber Sims and Mrs. Stacey Hendricks. I love you both! My sweet Aunt Jenny in Oklahoma GAVE me her upright piano. YEAH gave it to me! Oh I love her. My kind family hauled it home for me on their way home from Oklahoma! (My dad cracks me up when he tells the story about laoding it and driving it all the way home.) He's a trooper. Thanks mom and dad! Love ya! I copied my darling cousin Rosemary and painted in green and I must say, I'm loving it! Thanks Rose, You're a doll! Me and Cart made a trip up to my parents Condo in Eden the other night and the fall colors are BEAUTIFUL!! They are a must see, really they will take your breath away! Today is my baby sisters Birthday! Happy Birthday Conlee Tators! Sure do love you sissy! I'm so glad you were born today! Life wouldn't be the same without ya! Me and Chandler have a secret desire of opening up a cake shop one day! (No Lie) We spent the day thinking of a cake that fits Con, and whipped it up! (For all the rest of you family members, we also picked out the cakes we are making all of you for your Birthday's..........Liese you're next!) Well that's my post for the day! I've got to do better at posting since this is how I journal! Also Carter is selling his Mustang! It's a sad day! That car is a Beaut and it's the nicest car I've ever owned. If you know anyone who is interested give us a call or leave a post. I'll post more info on it when he gets home! Conference is this weekend! Oh how I love our prophet! I have to work which I'm not looking forward to but I'm trying to stay positive and be greatful for my job! Hope everyone is enjoying fall as much as we are! We've already used our cocoamotion 3 times! And I found a DELICIOUS Stephens Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate that warms the soul! Oh I want some right now! Much Love!!

Friend BBQ

Have I ever mentioned how greatful we are for our friends? Really what would the wold be like without them? We had a BBQ at our house with some of our awesome friends! We had a blast! Growing up is so weird.... But it's so fun and we'll alwasy be young at HEART!!
