To My Husband

(One of my favorite pictures of my studly husband)

It's not our anniversary, it's not your Birthday, it's not any special occasion. It's just a simple morning that I am having an overwhelming feeling of love towards you.
You are not here right now, you have left hours ago to go to work on a Saturday morning. Never an ounce of complaining is ever heard from your lips and I'm sitting here looking at a list of things you could complain about. You could complain about the clothes that are not washed, you could complain about the money that is not in our bank account, or MY old car that you are driving...........but you don't. (EVER!).
Every time I come home from work I am greeted with a smile on your face. Every time YOU come home from work I am greeted with a smile on your face. Your warm inviting spirit is felt by everyone around you. (And I am the one who gets to spend eternity with you!)
You make me want to be a better person. Someone who is motivated and organized, someone who has a respect for everyone (no matter who), and someone who puts the rest of the world before themself.
I have a long ways to go to equal who you are, but that's why I am so glad you are who I chose to stand beside. I will always be happy as long as I have you! You were my best decision, and I have only learned to love you more since the day I married you because I have come to see that you genuinely are who you portray yourself to be.

I love you Carter Thomas Carter Musgrave. (wink wink)
